"I did not expect this experience to be anywhere near as good as it was. A vast array of WW2 memorabilia, including some very interesting pieces with the benefit of being accompanied by a thorough historical background provided by the owner - Joseph. Some of the items are not to be found in your general war museum and Joseph gives a personal guided tour. If you like WW2 or history in general, the Grant WW2 Museum is so worth the visit."

"What can I say? Having wanted to visit this museum for approximately 3+ years and not having had the opportunity, today I was able to achieve my dream. A museum unlike any other I have been to. Nothing here was boring or stale in terms of information, all that was seen and experienced by my daughter and I was fascinating, really bringing history to life! I cannot wait to go back soon. Thanks to Joseph for making the hour we were there so truly memorable."

"I visited the museum with my husband and two great-nephews aged 13 and 16. It was a very interesting experience and unlike any other museum we've visited in that this is a private collection in a private house, clearly lovingly put together over some years...and still expanding! Our host Joseph was very informative and is obviously passionate about all things WW2. His knowledge is outstanding and he happily answered all our questions. No items were "off limits" and it was incredible to handle things that are a part of history. There are a number of unique items too....where else would you see a letter hand signed by General Dwight Eisenhower? I cannot recommend a visit highly enough, this is an incredibly impressive collection."

"What a fantastic way to spend a wet, Autumn afternoon with the Grandchildren! Don't expect the traditional museum ..... it's very much a hands-on experience, underpinned by Joseph's extensive knowledge and enthusiasm. He has a story for every exhibit, of which there are many. From uniforms and flags to Tommy guns and tank shells. From espionage equipment to top secret maps. Our 10 year old grandson was able to handle the exhibits and Joseph was more than ready to answer all his many questions."

"The wife and I stopped by on our way north. An amazing collection of original items, some very interesting and unusual things as well as the expected guns, uniforms, helmets, etc. Nick showed us around and was very accomodating. He knew his stuff and gave it a personal feel. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us your collection. We would thoroughly recommend paying a visit. We only spent a couple of hours there but could have stayed longer."

★★★★★

"Unbelievable compact WW2 museum which has been collected and displayed by the extremely knowledgeable Joseph. The twist is that all angles of WW2 have been addressed, with artifacts from many countries, armoury including some recently recovered from farmers fields in France and fascinating personal stories and documents with interesting back stories. My favourite thing was a notebook that a surgeon had kept of all the operations he had performed, with injury details and outcomes recorded - really brought his story to life. It was all fascinating and Joseph's passion clearly obvious. All ages would find the hands on approach engaging and no questions are unanswered. Please ring and arrange a visit - this is not to be missed and will only evolve further as time goes on. Good luck Joseph."
